The Annual Spokane Scholars Foundation Banquet honors the top students from each of Spokane county's high schools in the academic disciplines of: English, World Languages, Fine Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. Students are selected by their high school teachers and counselors; a student can only be selected in one discipline. At the banquet, each student is individually introduced and receives a personalized Spokane Scholars medallion. In addition, substantial cash grants are awarded to the top students in each academic category.
